Anyone around Northeast Florida

Hey everyone, my names Matt and I'm in St Augustine, Florida. I’ve been getting back into urban exploring as it's been 3 or 4 years since I have last explored. I wanted to see if anyone was around my area or northeast FL that actively explores.

My buddy that I previously went exploring with moved away and I am not too keen on exploring alone so I thought this would be an opportunity to introduce myself and see who all is around and if anyone's looking for someone to do some exploring with.

It's great to be a part of this site and I look forward to getting back into the hobby.

Hey man, I just wanted to wish you luck in your search. I am in Atlanta, I usually almost always go it alone, it's refreshing to see someone reach out. Look forward to pics you may post. I'm low on the totem pole here, but these folks are knowledgeable about safety and experienced explorers. I hope you reaching out pays off. I bet the saltwater and rust makes for cool urban ruins down your way. David.

Thank you for wishing me luck in my search. I am hoping reaching out will help as well, I have explored a few times in the past myself when my buddy would be busy and would do it again if it came to it; though it would be nice to find others around as I have been finding some neat places to check out in the area.

Everyone on here does seem to have a ton of knowledge especially when it comes to safety. The rust does makes some great photography opportunities when you find the right places!

We like pics... if you want to establish yourself here pictures speak louder than words.
It takes time.
On the flip side for all you know we could all ax murderers...

Thanks for the reply, I will definitely have some photos coming soon I hope. It is a good idea to get established so people know I don't have an axe collection and so I can be sure no one else does either. Anyways it's great to be part of the forum LOL.

My mother wants to move there (St Augustine) and I will never understand it. No offence but that seems like another one of those places you're better off visiting than living in but that's kind of how I see FL as a whole.

I don't live in SWFL anymore but I've hung out with a few really cool people down there and checked some cool abandonments as well. Make a positive name for yourself here and I am sure they will come out of the wood works.

Thanks for the reply, I sure hope they will. I'm thinking about checking out a place that I have been to before and get some good photos. St. Augustine is a place I probably would not recommended to move if you want clear roads and places that are not crowded. The over development is sucky but it's not horrible since we live in a somewhat less crowded neighborhood and know back ways through town. It definitely would be more enjoyable to visit then live. But anyways keep an eye out and I should have some pictures up before Friday evening (depends on when I get time to upload if I go today)
