Nestled into a gap in the Appalachians, unfortunately beside a fairly busy highway, This small inn must have been something back in the day. With the closeness of the highway, the volume of traffic, and my bike parked across the road... I didn't feel comfortable going into any buildings.
Two streams, one from the left and the other between the buildings converge in a pit beneath the wheel and then run under the road and out into the valley.
The second lower building is full of junk, an the upper building is totally destroyed beyond the stone walls.
If the highway wasn't so busy, the location would be prime. I'm still a bit surprised that noone has tried to do anything with it.
