I find this to be the primary issue with exploring in ATL. I'd listen to any advice Damnband has here. He really did his best in keeping things running for a long time. While I was a lurker, not a participator, I saw all the work he put into that group. Best of luck guys and I look forward to seeing all your adventures!

I’ve been meeting up with a couple people from here and Instagram for a couple months now. I suppose a lot of the places we’ve been going are maybe old news to most that are old in the ATL scene, but we’ve definitely been having fun and hitting some awesome spots that are “new” to people in the group.
For me, it’s now become about the feeling of community and meeting new friends (and also the feeling of security in having a group of folks while exploring)— the abandonment is a cherry on top of the cake. I welcome anyone interested to DM me and I will invite y’all into the Discord that we’ve got going. Maybe more than anything, it’s about hitting old spots that will soon be gone one last time before they are demolished or repurposed.
I’ve been doing this separately from my time on EUR for a long time and while it’s sad that the glory days are behind us, it’s still a nice feeling to finally have a community of people who share my passion for decay and photography... I’m terribly grateful for that, at least.
