Just some pics from an abandoned power plant. The tower is 500 feet tall The place is absolutely massive. Abandoned back in the 70's this place has just laid to waste full of cast iron rebar and concrete. This is a local spot I like going to from time to time. More pics to come.1.

Agree with above. MORE MORE MORE!! What a cool place. If this is the plant I think it is, there is another incomplete reactor plant about 4hrs west in the same state. Super fun stuff!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

Oh hell yes, we await more with great impatience (but it allows us time to mop up any drool smears on our screens)! Great work, what an awesome explore! Love those hyperbolic style cooling towers! (Pretty sure that's what they're called anyways).

Cool stuff and like everyone else said, more pictures! There were a bunch of these nuclear plants that they never finished, go find more and take lots of pictures.

My friend and I kept trying to make plans to go out to this spot (45min from my parents place). We never got around to going which sucks! I love the shots of the reactor shell that was never completed. When this plant was being built the locals got into a huge scare about radiation even though the type of reactor was pretty safe. It got cancelled mid construction and the state (which is very frugal unless its something stupid like walls or guns)figured it'd be cheaper to just leave it up. Personally I'd turn this place in to a sick garden park and leave the towers and all that standing.

I've been out of the urbex loop for quite a while, especially in this region since I moved out to TX. I heard rumors a while back that this place was going to be demo'd, I'm really happy to see it's still there. I was planning to out there with a good friend of mine many, many years ago, unfortunately we never got the chance.

Absolutely incredible photos though. The first one is such a cool perspective, I'm guessing you used a drone? The third one is my favorite though. That reflection of the nuclear tower looming over trees, it's just perfect.

Power plants always look so good. Even half built, this place looks like it has so much potential.
