One of the museums is for the Higgins PT boats.
Also an warbird one that has some cool relics.
Might be a battleship as well, been a while.
Never got a chance to chase those down.
Houston has a battleship open for tours, WW1 era I think.
War museums are interesting... and you might spot some sploring sites along the way.

I've always enjoyed museums and old war history. Something I'll surely have to see. I went to a navy base in Chicago a few years ago and saw some old Battleship cannons on display. I had a family member in the navy stationed there and I was a lot younger back then, but I still remember how amazing it all was.

The closest I'll ever be to exploring a fantasy dungeon!

Here's one of them.
They have a SR-71 Blackbird. If never saw one before that alone might be worth the visit.

Lol, the gators won't bother you but the skeeters will eat you alive.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I've noticed driving across Texas that I've seen all sorts of interesting military aircrafts outside on display. I'll plan a trip one day there and check it out. I remember there used to be a old military surplus store in Texarkana that my dad would take me to frequently, I bought an old army carp there.
