Hello all - just found this forum a few days ago and have really been enjoying browsing through your photos and thought I'd add just a few of mine.

Found this crumbling church while driving for a weekend getaway, had to pull over and check it out.

Not sure that my photos are on the same level as a lot of others I've seen here, I need to upgrade my DSLR out of the stone age

I work with an older canon DSLR and I've come to appreciate not having some of the more up-to-date buttons and bells and whistles. If you want to improve your photography, focus more on composition and less on gear. You'll find you skill cap eventually, and then I recommend upgrading your camera. Working with less teaches you more in all honesty.

I love little rural churches like that. Don't worry about gear, and just use your phone if you think your camera sucks. Back off on the HDR and colors too, they just kinda hurt your eyes.
