Satiating the hunger - an asylum at last

On a crisp May morning, shadowedsmile and I embarked on the long drive to this stunning and pristine hospital for the criminally insane. For being on the property of an active facility, it was a remarkably relaxed explore, and even was punctuated by relaxing in rocking chairs on the porch of the hospital after a successful trip. Ever since moving to Canada a decade ago I've missed the asylums that I cut my teeth on in the northeast US, so this was a real treat.

Looks like great fun and you captured a bunch of keepers
In #8 what is that after the last door? An X-ray head?

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I really appreciate the large dimensions to your photo attachments; they fill my entire screen and give a great view of all the tiny details. I also really like the colour enhancements. They bring out great details. At least, I think you enhance the colours. I'm not quite sure, which is precisely why they look good.

This is definitely one of my favourite adventures of ours... It was a great way to break in the new wagon and continue our streak of awesome hits.

Your photos turned out fantastic, I'm glad they are finally seeing the light of day.

You took great shots, but I think the real question is:

Were there any bowling balls?

Nice set. I would have really liked to have seen 11 and 12 before all the plaster came down.

It's a ventilation unit like you can see in #10. These were added all throughout the building to stabilize it after it was vacated.
