Yeh, some of the ghost towns are ok. I'm not really into the ones that are tourist attractions though.


Have you been to Ruby yet? It's not to big and way out there but last time I was there (admittedly like 9 years ago) it was in great condition, old school house with all the desks still there etc. If you do decide to go though, beware that there is a caretaker, and last I heard he wasn't very, um, stable...

Haven't been yet, but I've heard/seen photos of that school house. Looked kinda neat. I thought I read they did tours of it?

I've never heard of this, but even if that one has become publicized, there are still lots of other ghost towns that you won't really find on the internet. If you're ever down south, ask around, Washington Camp had some old barns last I saw, and I've heard quite a bit about Harshaw and the old mines around there (respirator and some big ol' kahunas required.)
