Once again this amazing villa did pull me there. Sadly it seems that other photographers have find it too. You know, those who doesn't have respect at all. There were few "if I move those flowers on the table and put this candle to here and these magazines here it will be perfect picture" or "if I take those beds that were against wall to here this room will look so much better" kind of set-ups. Drawers were open and searched to find anything that could be photographed.

And those make me mad. I just can't understand what anyone can get from those views, when there ain't nothing real in them, nothing that were born by time and fortune? Wouldn't it be easier to buy old stuff and photograph them at home? Doesn't challenge of finding photos from that what really is ain't enough or it is too much? And finally: how an earth that kind of place itself ain't enough???

So my mood did drop pretty much, but still I did try to find photos and avoid those arranged views. After all it still is amazing place to be.

And today’s off-topic-bonus-photo... well, it ain’t as off-topic as usual; this is from same saturday, from small and quite forgotten graveyard. At this time I did do some searching afterwards, going through old pages from digitalized book of “dead and buried”. Pretty interesting... not too much but something anyway. There rests man called Viktor Hollari, which did die 24.8.1877 by unknown illness, at the age of 42 years, 1 month and 20 days.

That’s it.

Makes me mad too! There is point when its been rearranged so much, nothing is REAL or spontaneous anymore. No longer natural. Why cant they just leave things alone. I can understand maybe moving a coke can or candy wrapper thats in your vision, but to stage it, makes it planned, almost forced. Love the height on the Servant house and the stone at the bottom. The Villa has been, and may always be, my favorite place you photograph. It speaks to me and i wish i could rescue it. I never tire of seeing it. Its such a lovely place. Thank You for bringing us there again! <3

While I am in the Instagram crowd, I think a lot of these rearranged shot scenes come from a need to create a specific perfect shot. I never rearrange anything, and would much rather see what is actually there. That's very frustrating. I love that grave by the way. Very interesting metal work! Great photo set as I have come to expect.

Your photos NEVER cease to command attention Wolf !!

The image "That Villa" is absolutely magical.
You have an "eye" for photography that is certain

I think you speak for many about being angered over "staged" items left staged and not left as found.

Always a pleasure my friend from afar

Fantastic country home site and dead on stone cold killer shots.
Meh, the usual suspects; mischievous elves... or mental midgets are to blame for the site mayhem.

Nice to hear that I'm not only one here. And I'm even more into this "don't touch anything", I take it literally. For me photo ain't real anymore if there is even smallest detail changed by me (or someone else). If something doesn't look good, I don't take photo, I can wait and maybe someday it will look good or maybe not, but it's part of keeping this madness interesting (and challenging).

I so much would love to rescue it! Still waiting win in lottery... wish luck for me, please.

And thanks for you. End of this third pint goes obviously for you and this comment.

Yeah, I suppose it's that. And that today's "I must get everything right now and as easy as possible because there ain't tomorrow" mood. I suppose that most of people who get in to UE photographing, are those who get in really fast and quickly and deep, and then they are in that for few moments... before they get bored and move to something else. And results for us who love untouched feel and love to return and return and return year after year after year... are really frustrating.

Thank you very much! And guess what... there is probably more to come that nice metal work - at least at this morning I did return second time to forest that contains small cemetary... where were buried those who didn't be good enough for real cemetary. Not too much, but that little with that history... I love it.

Thank you so much.

Hey, it's not in my photo - magic is in that villa itself.

I'm so happy to hear that I'm not only who hates those arranged views. Sometimes feels that I'm only one who cares about that, but obviously I'm not. And that is really positive thing.

Guess what: next it's absinthe shot time, and it goes for you.

Yeah, and as I said it was built by Finnish painter at early 1900's for his summer use... and I can't get there without wondering what stories it could tell. At least legends tell that life there were quite... well, something else than usual life at Finnish countryside at that time. Also it have been told that owner were really bohemian at every way... and yes, he did live for a while in france. I suppose that second absinthe at this point is very suitable. Cheers!
