Question about masks

I recently ordered one of these:

Novemkada Dustproof Masks - Activated... https://www.amazon...?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

It’s a PM2.5 carbon dust mask. Will this offer ANY protection against mold or asbestos? Or should I just return it and invest in a better product?

I apologize if this is a repeat thread. I did search around a bit but wasn’t able to find the answer to this particular question.

That mask is for walking around Beijing and surviving the air pollution. I highly doubt it would be helpful against the things you mentioned.

A 3m 6100 with p100 filters is the standard as far as I know.

Appreciate that info. When I search for that all I’m seeing is larger bulky masks.

3M 8511PB1-A-PS Particulate N95 Respirator with Valve, 10-Pack https://www.amazon..._api_imhNBbSKK1HEH

What about something like this? Looking for something slim and semi-comfortable if that even exists for this type of purpose.

That does nothing for asbestos, you want something like this,

https://www.amazon...ords=3m+6100&psc=1

With filters like this,

https://www.amazon...words=3m+p100+2091

I would also include this thread,

Fine particulate respirators aren't very comfortable or slim. You expend energy using them... great for building lung capacity.
Without a proper face seal these won't protect you.

That's what the fucking Aussie bush hat's for
All the respirator does is make everything harder and more likely not see the the real danger... hellholes.

as someone who had to regularly wear gas masks for the better part of eleven years at work, don't expect comfort.
