Huge thanks to Skye Anne for asking me this week if i had ever explored this house and if i had photos i could show her.

Skye informed me that that the home is now on the market for $1.3 million dollars, so I located the listing and can't believe what they have done with the place.

The listing reads:

Luxurious estate farm house nestled on just under 3 acres. This home has been renovated top to bottom with no expense spared. Old charm blended with high end finishes, featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, large covered porch, all new appliances with an oversized double garage with a loft above for storage, office or rental suite possibilities. Renovations and upgrades within the house include: All new windows and sills in original structure (Centennial Windows with transferrable lifetime warranty), custom kitchen with quartz and granite countertops, ensuite (with heated floors) and main bath cabinets, new septic system and drilled well, new walls, steps, and door for original basement walkout, house was gutted to stone walls and added spray foam insulation, 200 amp service all new electrical and plumbing, the list goes on and on! This home must be viewed in person to really captivate all the work that has been done to transform this farm house into the rare beauty that it is

This house was popular in the summer of 2015 with many getting in to explore it between the period after the owner passed away and the contents were cleared out.

I explored this one with Phrenzee and MsDekay in May of 2015 and it has always been a top location for me as far as these Time Capsule places go.

Here is the listing: https://comfree.co...707301#description

And on with the pics!

OUTSTANDING post Freak!! This is no doubt my favorite post thus far. Saved from the grips of Mother Nature. Just a beautiful home. Thanks for the share!!!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

This post is freaking fantastic, which is quite an understatement. What a beautiful transformation, too. I'm not a huge fan of the way they built the garage but almost everything else looks perfect. I hope someone that explored that place ends up buying it.

Absolutely love the way you put all this together...the before and after. What a gorgeous renovation. Your captures are so very nice and should be offered to the Real Estate Co. that is trying to sell it. Whoever is interested in buying it would love to see the transformation. Awesome Work Freak-

Seeing the shots of this place from 2015 make me so sad. Knowing this person probably lived their whole life here and passed away close to here, leaving all these memories, really affects me.

That said, great comparison gallery! Nice to know they were able to do something nice with this house and not just tear it down.

Quite unique to be able to see the transformation of a place that was in such a state of decay. This post does a good job of capturing two very different types of beauty. Great set!

What an amazing transformation. It's really neat to see the side by side comparison shots of then and now. All the shots of old photos and magazines are probably my favourites though.

Brilliant comparisons !!
Looks fantastic, but it is sad too, considering the folks that had all their life belongings left behind

Hopefully a new family will enjoy this "modernized" farm house making new memories.

VERY enjoyable post
