I'm new(er) to the urbex/rurex scene, and I was wondering if there was anyone near me who would be down to meet up and explore sometime.
Also, these are pics from the first house I ever ventured into, it's not much but I wanted to share them.
I don't know any history of this little house, but it's nestled in the woods right off the road not even a quarter of a mile from my (old) house. Something I thought was interesting was the way the wood was warped on the walls (not very visible in pictures, but you can see it to the right of the fireplace). It was scary to go in, since the floor was so rotten. The floor was almost completely gone in the bathroom. The door on the side of the house led to what I assume was an old cellar/basement type thing. I didn't go down there since 1) it was pitch black 2) it was filled with water and 3) there wasn't a way up. I was afraid I'd fall through the floor most of the time, but I think it was worth it.
