Few pictures taken of the abandoned radar base. There is security cameras on the front building and the radio towers. Just explored the far side buildings and found many typewriters and old books. More pictures to come!

Hey. Just as a suggestion, you could try using an image hosting site and then link it here for better resolution. Internal UER images aren't great. Look forward to more pics.

Funny I was just here this past Saturday. I read an article how 6 or so teens were arrested here April 2017 after tripping an alarm.

I'm pretty sure this location is in the UE database. If so, it should be updated with new info on access.

This is a former Nike site... with active com infrastructure.
The former is why it's alarmed.

Wrong again...

Since the OP stated the location in his title, stating that the site is the former Saratoga Springs Air Force Station doesn't violate any privacy. Prior to that, it was a smaller USAF RADAR site known as a Gap Filler Annex.

Photos? I collect typewriters and I love trying to identify the ones people find out in the field.
