The City of Chilliwack are very quick to demolition vacant properties these days, they are very quickly occupied by squatters and/or the homeless and don't last very long after that.

This spot on the way to Cultus was decent about a year ago, was quickly occupied by squatters, and was demolished a few months ago. I know there is at least one vacant home still standing in the Cultus area.

This house is still standing and vacant.

This house was still around in April, might be gone now, haven't checked recently.

There aren't many abandonments in Chilliwack besides the occasional vacant home or business, anything of historical interest is either long demolished or still active. The old Thurston prison was fantastic but it's long gone now. I haven't seen the old military base vacant for years, as far as I know it is very active and still in use but I could be wrong, I hope I am.

I won't give out location details but they're out there. It's hard to cover a lot of ground without a car. You'll have more luck on the outskirts of town unless you're into exploring active locations. Vacant properties outside of the downtown core in Rosedale, Vedder, Cultus, Popkum, Greendale, Fairfield, and Ryder Lake last longer before demolition.

No urban exploration... but the Chipmunk caves are always fun to check out.
Theres about 6 small caves with a total of about 140metres of passage.

Yes please! if you get the chance to drive around in the Fraser valley there are lots out this way! just keep your eyes on the side of the road. Works well with 2 or more people one person is the driver and the rest just watch for places that look run down and left.
