For anyone that hasn't, here's your chance: https://www.blogto...y-station-toronto/

Please go and bring back good pics for me. Anime North is that weekend, and I'll be busy with that.

One day I got a good camera.

Wow, what a weekend! Just for context, I was up at 5:45am for work on Friday til 2pm, checked in with people at Anime North, went to my riding for polling station training, went home to sleep, woke up, met Rusty Canadian at Bay Station, saw Lower Bay, had lunch, went back to Anime North, and only came home this evening.

I figured with Doors Open and all it would be crowded and there'd be lots of people around trying to see the sights. But what actually irked me more was the fact that they had subway trains parked on either side. The walls were what I wanted to see the most, since they offer the most distinct identifying features of the station minus the floor. Rusty and I thought it would have been a cooler consolation prize if they had brought out work cars like the retired Hawkers to fill in the track space.

Anyway, here's a sampling:

Displays of movies making use of the platform:

The hyped-up Lego display:

Just in case you had any ideas:

Attempts to remove the tagging:

Painting over:

The drywall in lieu of tile indicates where there was once no covering and it was open to the upper platform, comparable to St. George Station:

I plan to sleep for the immediate future. Whenever I edit my pictures, we'll see, but they should be here relatively soon. I want to see what you guys have!
