| | | Hello!! My name is Alicia, I am not new to exploring, but I am new to the forums! Thanks for having me. I live in FL, but I am from Michigan. I've always had a love of old, abandoned buildings and places and always always wanted to stop everywhere when I was little. My parents always said no. I finally got my wish when I found an old Ford Factory on google maps here in Jacksonville, FL (Designed by Albert Kahn!) and we realized it was just OPEN. The bug was unleashed, and I was hooked. I visited family last year in Detroit, and we got to explore just a handful of the amazing Albert Kahn designed factories and downtown buildings there. Since then, I've been back to Detroit again, and I have another trip booked this summer. We've been seeking out some amazing industrial spots here in Jacksonville, FL, which have been breathtaking and so full of potential. Thanks so much for having me! 1. 1. 1. 1.

And therein, as the bard would tell us, lies the rub.

| | | Hi, my name is Ropy and I'm from Europe. I will be visiting Texas in 2 weeks. Trying to get some tips about the dos and don'ts in the South. I like mostly old industry, but of course will visit any abandoned house too. I shoot all my photos in 3D. You can see them in parallel view or with red and blue glasses. Here's my collection on Flickr: https://www.flickr...72157627854833670/

| | | Hi all, not sure if anyone is actively checking this thread, but here goes. I'm a 28 year old male living in southeast Connecticut. I've been exploring abandoned places for about 2-3 years now. I usually explore solo, mainly because I don't know other people who share my interest, but also because it's nice to be free and flexible, and I find the process calming. I usually find spots through good old fashioned eyeballin', but I'm excited to find this forum, which will hopefully lead to some new adventures. I shoot Nikon (definitely an amateur, trying to improve) and I have hundreds of photos from my explorations, which I would love to start posting. Happy to be here, and if anyone explores around my way, feel free to shoot me a message!

| | | Posted by TJacksPhoto Hey there, Im Tony I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am new to UER but not to urbex. I have been into urbex for about 3 years now, everyday I try to find somewhere new to go and adventure. If anyone from Minnesota or Wisconsin wants too meet up I am almost always free. I love photography I cannot go into a building without taking a few thousand pictures. A fun fact about me I am a Personal Trainer.

Welcome, Reggie and TJacks! Great photos there, TJacks, those look like some incredible locations! Good colours, edits, too! Watch the lens distortion though, if you use Lightroom or Photoshop look into profile distortion correction for your camera and lens.
