It's bean a while since I've posted any thing of substance. Sorry for the absence.

Seasonal depression was beginning to settle in during this long cold winter, it was time for a Caribbean vacation. The island of St. Lucia was what we decided on, and began planning things to do and see. Upon studying Google map imagery I found this huge piece of property with what I thought had bunkers on it. This had caught my attention, but I had no clue what it actually was. We made a point of going well out of our way to explore this location. What we found was much better than bunkers.

I don't know much, nor could I find much online about what this place was, but this looked like a resort, albeit an incomplete one. All the structures were all at the same stage of construction. They were never complete or lived in. One can assume that finical problems are what likely stopped this possibly 5 star resort from opening.

There are about 20+ buildings in all on the property, with a hell of a view, along with no fences or signage.

Photos taken in February 2018.
Enjoy!

The largest main structure on the property, I assume the main office, and lobby, ect...

Most of the villas are built on a peninsula.

This rock looked like it was carved to make way for the road to loop around it.

A snapchat from that day.

And finally a random vacation photo from this beautiful island, the town of Soufrere, under the Piton Mountains.

If anyone is interested in knowing where this place is PM me, it makes a great addition to a vacation, then again, the island is like 40 some kms long...it's really not that hard to find.

Holy, that's gargantuan! Regardless of its difficulty to find, that's still awesome. It's great to see another user on this forum keeping up their curiosity while on vacation in foreign territory. My favourite picture is the spiral staircase in the spire.

If you're ever in Merida or Cozumel, let me know, and I'd be willing to share my finds in those areas.

OH MY! This would certainly lift my seasonal depression. WOW! Beautiful! The views 9-11 and 27. That Water! So pretty! What a shame tho! These stairwells and the all the open rooms. Someone put a ton of money into this. I hope it can be completed one day. Thanks Much For sharing! LOVED it!

I did a quick scan of the island, and I think I found something that matches your description. Will you check my answer, teacher?

Looking around some of the threads around this forum (including my own), I can't help to think that maybe this sort of premature buildings are more common than not. It's truly fascinating to think millions already went on this property for it to simply sit still at the sea.

Excellent set. Thanks for sharing.
