Sorry this took so long to post, but here are the pictures from my continued explore of the storm tunnels under Austin.

No creepy eyes this time (Thank God). I came more prepared and with more people. Instead of 1 o.k. quality flashlight we had 3 hella bright flashlights which felt so much better.

So, I like to call myself a photographer, so I set the mood with some candles which added a nice atmosphere. I took a group photo, but dont have permission to share it. So for the sake of those involved. I wont.
1.

As you can see from this picture -- last time I went into these tunnels my flashlight was fairly dim.
2.

Now if you look -- you can see how much brighter it was with 3 high powered lights
3.

Some potentially cool wall art that was ruined by Hitler. Damn it Hitler! Not again!!
4.

Here is where the tunnels got very cool. This is about 2 hours into our walk and we were about to give up hope and pop out onto the surface when we turned a corner to this.
5.

The tunnel we chose to go down was about 3 feet wide and barely tall enough to stand up straight. It felt like we were traveling back in time. A pretty surreal experience. Tunnel went for about 200 more yards before it was flooded and we had to skip over to the one next to it.
6.

The tunnel next to it was in a considerable amount of disrepair. Almost impaled myself on some hanging rebar.
7.

And then same as last time we used a storm drain to emerge onto the surface. This time there were some guys working on a house right in front of the cover. They just glanced our way and then went right back to work.

I am planning another trip down this weekend to see more. Going to bring some wheels this time so its a quicker trip. Hope y'all enjoy!

Side note -- I don't know why the text is coming through as links. I am still trying to figure out this whole link to flicker thing.

I love these tunnels but my entrance has been covered up by some pesky construction workers recently. By the way -- if you want non-fm people to see your thread you should unprivate it.

I like the junction in photo #5. My only issue is the manhole cover which shows a point of entry. As I understand UER as Avatar-X doesn’t agree with is photos of the point of entry. Aside from that great job!!

I thought it would be ok as it was our exit. But I see where you are coming from. I'll have it removed thanks!

Trout, let me see if I can help.

Your links from Flickr look like this without spaces:

[ url= https://flic.kr/p/CFWPzN ][img ]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4487/24080883108_644e821d63_z.jpg[ /img][/ url][ url=https://flic.kr/p/CFWPzN ]Steel Mill - 7/2017[ /url] by [ url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/4valhal/]4Valhal[ /url], on Flickr

Which turns in to this:

Steel Mill - 7/2017 by 4Valhal, on Flickr

All of your description text for the picture needs to be after that final [/ url] like where it says "on Flickr."

I think what you're doing is putting all your text inside the brackets to describe the pics which is making it all a link to the picture.

If I am wrong then my apologies.

Love the pics by the way. The candles add a creepy ambiance to the tunnel there. It sounds like a really cool tunnel to check out.

Liked your first shot tremendously. Nice mood with the candles and water flowing through.
Someone did a good job on the Green Face, but i hate it was Hitlerized

The 3 way tunnel openings would definitely peek my interest. Did you ck. out all 3 ?

The old tunnel and the square one next to it connect farther down. We didn't have time to check out the one branching off to the left
