So you're shaming the OP by proxy?

I don't think I was too extremely shaming anyone.

Also, wow that's a lot of votes.

why isn't there a "I use it jokingly to be an asshole" option?

it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.

I just use the word 'abandonment' or 'abandoned building.'

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

I started saying the word "bando" as a joke. From there, it slipped into my regular vernacular. It's not my fault it rolls off the tongue with all the fluid grace of a racial slur.

"Bando" is already in my vocabulary under a different meaning that isn't related to urbex, though it is only used in that way by a select niche of people. As a result, I don't use it to describe abandoned buildings.

Ive been a lurker for quite a while here and always thought it was silly.

But I also just bought 2 of FlySparrow's BANDOS UER stickers.... so I guess I'm on the fence about it.

You bought two x (2x) Yacht club decals, four in total, but only one BANDOS... I'll hold off on shipping your order until you confirm.

I think Bando sounds dumb but the Bando UER stickers are really cool and well designed so now I'm conflicted
