Be careful with those flickr photos, I found the location in just a couple minutes from the background. Not trying to be a dick, just asking you to be cautious.

Oops I guess I'm a bit late

Idk, I guess it's just an easy spot
I actually cut even more obvious photos from the post--but I guess the background gives it away easily...

Honestly I could care less what happens to this place. I guess it's cool and easy, but it's not anything special at all.

I think the best part of the place is the big tank filled with water that everyone has pictures of.

I traveled here yesterday for a quick, easy explore. I was happily surprised at the size of the plant, it was larger than many of the pictures portray. No problems accessing the spot.

I went here a little while ago with a couple of friends, only to find this place nearly completely demolished. Access is very easy (if you don't run into the people who are working on demolishing this place), but we went on a weekend and the place was inactive. There is construction equipment everywhere (excavators, bulldozers), so they must have started pretty recently. The circular water storage tanks were completely demolished, with only the one at the end of the facility still holding water. The ladders (or stairs?) were removed from the one rectangular storage tank, which was fortunately standing. This meant that we had to use rebar that was sticking out of the side to scale it, but the inside of the tank is largely unchanged.

#1 The partially demolished storage tank that was in far better condition than the other ones

#2 View from the top of that same partially demolished tank

#3 Another shot from that same tank

#4 Side of the rectangular tank (where I presume the stairs were)

#5 View from the rectangular tank

#6 Looking down at the rectangular tank

I've cropped the photos so they won't give away the location, but I think that shouldn't be necessary for much longer.

RIP

Too bad this place was demolished. Would have definitely tried to go sometime if it was still standing. Anyways, great pictures! The torn-out(?) sewer lines in #5 reminds me of a place by my house that sells similar pipes to professionals. The pictures of the workings of the treatment plant are super cool.

The pile of manhole covers looks just like the pile of UER stickers I rec'd as I dumped them from the envelope!
