Are you aware of any device that can detect these types of motion detectors? For example, many automatic doors and proximity alarms give off a X or K radar band. My radar detector picks these up from time to time. Any such device to detect if these type of motion detectors are in the immediate area?

First step is to ID the device and it's frequency range/protocol and capabilities/weaknesses.
If it generates RF it can be detected and perhaps jammed.
If it doesn't send out periodic check in signals there are more options to deal with it.
If they're are responding quickly this is a very bad sign in its self; they are willing to invest the manpower needed. In time they may slack off as it's costly to maintain at that level of vigilance. Too many trips with no arrests may have a similar effect.
Depending on the sensor and/or cam type, a laser pointer of the right wavelength(s) might be able to trip or blind the vid fed. Monochromatic sensors are the easiest to blind by laser.
If someone is willing to do the research and play with the gators there possibilities.
However if the reason these are being installed is to stop arson and scrappers, interfering with them may be as self defeating as it is illegal.
Much of the damage at Pennhurst was a result of a prolonged repeated attacks on its alarm infrastructure. In 1986 it was intact, by 1996-2004 or so gone (can't recall the exact year the copper steam return pipe scrapers were busted), and by 2008 Pennhurst was completely trashed beyond practical reuse by scrappers, arsonists and vandals.
I -do not- advocate destroying any alarm infrastructure at a complex.
