Hey guys and gals! Allow me to introduce myself with my first photo post. My name is METRo, and I've been into exploring for about 10 years and am an avid photographer. In fact, I've been so obsessed with abandoned buildings that I ended up getting my Masters in historic preservation, so now my JOB is to go into many abandoned buildings (I take photos every chance I can get)! I've also been following this site for about 3 years now, but haven't shared anything since I tend to think my photography isn't very good.
But lately I have been going to some great places, whether in New Orleans (where I am currently based), the Mid-Atlantic (grew up outside of D.C.) or from my recent trips to France, England, and Cuba!
So without further ado, I'll start with some basic shots of abandoned / semi-abandoned warehouses. Nothing too special, just some c.1905-1935 buildings that have slowly become abandoned since the 1970s. Enjoy!
