I finally stopped by a place I have known about for years last weekend.

This is quite a famous location, not really in exploring circles but more classic car enthusiast circles. The owner locked up this car dealership in 2002 due to ill health, and left everything inside including the cars. The cars are housed in a long garage type building with individual cage-type doors to each stand, meaning anyone passing by can see the cars. Over the last fifteen years cars have occasionally been removed because believe it or not everything is still for sale if you call the number attached to the front door (but presumably for a ridiculous price!). The owner comes by occasionally and cuts the grass around the building and checks for damage etc.

There are still three cars left, former icons of Britain's roads in the late 1980s and on into the 1990s - a Vauxhall Cavalier, Austin Maestro and a Rover 800 which has somehow lost it's wheels.

AMC Rambler Rebel

A bit of a rare car to see. They were only made from 57-60. The 1957 model was performance oriented and is often considered one of the first "muscle cars"

I believe this is a 1960 model, but I could be mistaken.
Despite sitting out in a field behind a abandoned house for probably may decades, it still has all of it's original glass intact. A few of the panes are even sitting unbroken inside the car.

Parked next to the Rambler is another oddball. This is a Simca. A French automaker who was purchased by Chrysler in the late 50s. They begun importing Simcas and selling them in North America until they were able to finish production of their own small car, the Valient.

I have had a bit of a tough time figuring out what model of Simca this is, but I believe it may be a Aronde. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of French cars can chime in.

Found some rippers on my recent holiday to the north of Western Australia.

This jeep at Kalbarri.

HR Holden at Wooramel station near Carnarvon.

XA or XB Ford Falcon at Wooramel. There was a really cool car graveyard at this place.

Majestic FB Holden near Exmouth. There was a dead kangaroo inside that fucken reeked though.

Bonus caravan from the Wooramel car graveyard.

Nothing big really, just an abandoned Metro.

Softly creeping through

A coworker of mine in a rusty old pickup truck we found while riding ATVs in the woods.

Here's the hood ornament- can anyone tell me what company made this truck?
