Here are some pictures I took and edited with a D3200. What do you think?

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

For a start, the brightness is a bit different on my computer and #1 is too soft.

You need to color calibrate your computer/monitor... start reading tutorials on it.
If you don't do this all your photo editing will be skewed...

And use the same color codec the whole process flow; cam>computer/photo app>monitor/printer

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Really interesting 3 and 5, how did you make that miniature effect on the shots? Is it a lens or post edit?

Once you are viewing the photos, you press ok to open the retouch menu and the miniature effect is on that list. The only bad part is that the effect has to be applied to a rectangular area that spans from one side of the image to the other either vertically or horizontally and, as far as I know, you cannot resize it.

I like your results! However, I personally would never edit photos on a camera (I have a D3400). Software aside, the monitor is too small, and does not allow you to fully evaluate the quality of your photos.

One day I got a good camera.

I agree with Fleeting. You can see that the area still in focus does not make sense when looking closely.

I can't believe I've been shooting on a D3200 for the last two years and didn't realize it had in camera edits lol. I like how 1 and 5 came out. Seems like there could be potential to get some unique effects; I'll have to start playing with the options and see what I end up with next time I go out.

If you ever shoot in RAW the Capture NX-D software seems to do a good job. Usually I just use gimp though.
