Posted by laurel Oh wow, awesome location! I've been to New Orleans a couple of times, and I bet you can find some awesome locations to explore there since they are still trying to rebuild from the storms. Nice pictures

Thanks! New Orleans is filled with a ton of smaller, less desirable place. There's probably about 10 really good, interesting location and about a million corner stores left to rot. One would think that Katrina did Urbex a favor but, maybe not for too long. Even 2 years after landfall, I can say that New Orleans was pretty much completely back to normal, except with a few new dark spots. But, very few were anything worth exploring.
Posted by Cfourexplore Hey, I found it! Nice explore man, love the pics! I've done various location types, but hospitals/asylums are my favorite (there's an area of SC that's just STUPID with defunct hospitals). In pic 4, are those the morgue freezers? Sad there's so much vandalism, but still looks like a great time...lots of equipment left (those stocked shelves and the slides look intriguing). I know this is an older post, but thanks for sharing, and for the recommend!

It is a morgue freezer! This place, despite the heavy damage, was a marvelous explore. This place is the best hospital for a hundred miles. Besides Charity. But i'm glad you found it! This place has been the host to countless cold nights. It got cleaned out like a year ago, but now looks only slightly less cool. There's still countless shots to be made, here!
