Oh boy, this is sort of my thing.

You're not kidding. You've definitely got some interesting back stories for your shots. I love having context for what I am looking at!

What's inside?

Absolutely Nothing! There was 2 concrete slabs, one of each side, with nothing on them. Brings up the question of whether there was ever anything in there to begin with!?!

Well, that first shot is too far/high, and the second way too close/high and out of focus.
As you see shots are best taken in daylight; use sunrise or sunset from a softer glow or to capture the led lights as they just start coming on.

Getting night shots that look good is tricky in cemeteries. Keepers are rare unless you really know what you're doing.

propaganda, where, roughly was that shot?
Looks like the weird graves you find near the Mexican border.

This tombstone was broken in half and given to my grandfather, who took the stone and placed it under my father's bed when he was young, where it stayed for many years. My dad always told me something always haunted him because of this. Eventually the tombstone was returned and placed back where it belonged.

Hardy the Faithful was a former slave who continued to live with his former owners in California. He's also rumored to have served in the military at some point.

This is in an old pioneer cemetery in my hometown. Often fallen in disrepair.
