Some of my Best Shots IMO, Some were shot on Nikon d5000 with the kit 18-55 lens, others were shot with a Nikon d3300 with a 50mm lens or the kit 18-55 lens. I Use Photoshop CC2016 for editing and mainly the "Nik Collection" by google for the effects. Would appreciate any advice or reactions!

#1: I don't love it. You put your self in a hard spot because the window is so bright and the room is dark. I would try turning so the window is out of the frame and then the room will be far brighter because your meter isn't being tricked, but if you're dead set on this commotion id try compositing.

#2: Love it! Great angle, composition, you name it. The only thing I'd say is breaking the two shoots that are sticking up closest to the lens (upper left and right) because they're so close that they just look like lines, you know they're the grass because you can see the ones further away but thats the only reason.

#3: Again, really good. I'd rotate the image a little so the horizon is flat and it seems a little over saturated.

#4: It's ok, I'm not in love with it and I don't like all the vignetting. I don't think this one is bad because of something technical, I just don't find anything in it particularly interesting.

#5: You're not gaining anything by having it be black and white. I think it could have been nice if the city was more pronounced. I would maybe make it so the tank was more in the bottom center so it's right under the city but with space on each side.

#6: I like it, I can't really tell if theres vignetting or not but if there is it looks alright except that its in all the corners but the top left. It also seems like it was shot through glass (because of the glare) so I'd look into getting/using a polarizing filter (i think its polarizing anyways, i try not to use filters a ton)

#7: The subject isn't really interesting and I hate the vignetting.

#8: I really like the subject but there are some technical flaws. Again, I hate the vignetting, theres a lot of noise and I'm assuming it isn't on film so it means your iso was really high since you needed the interior to not be black. IF you were to go again I'd say shut the blinds so the light is more even and use a tripod, opt for a longer exposure than a higher iso.

#9. Way way way to blue. The vignetting here is alright since it's so light but I'd still discourage it. You have a big issue with the back windows, so you could do a couple things to fix that but I'd recommend standing by the opposite wall, I think the composition would be more interesting.

#10: like it a lot, should have been vertical not horizontal, theres to much negative space. You could probably crop it but it bay be so small that it ends up being really blurry or pixelated.

#11: I don't like it at all, I don't like selective black and white and the subject isn't all that interesting. You've cut out so much of the background (both with framing and aperture) that it really makes me think its just like your little brother set down the juice while playing.

#12: It's alright, over saturated and I think city scares are kind of overdone/ uninspired but if you like it. I think the framing could have been improved to not cut off any buildings.

#13: So green. The vignetting is light enough that I don't really mind. I kind of wish there was slightly more of the floor and a little less of the ceiling, imagine where above the door meets the ceiling and the far right line meets the floor.

#14: Well exposed but not all that interesting.

#15: Way to dark and I think the framing is off but a better idea than the last.

#16: I like this one a lot but it seems a little out of focus which really hurts it.

#17: The horizon is off a little. It's and alright image, not your best but not the worst either.

#18: I think it would have been better to expose the windows and see how the rest comes out, sort of the same issue you've had a couple other places but i really like the composition.

#19: The horizon is way off and it looks like you just took a picture of a random office building.

#20: The subject is over exposed to the extent that its clipped. I like how you see some of the background though. Good candidate for compositing.

#21: Clipped whites, to red, and I think you should have moved the egg out of frame but the idea is good.

#22: Again, really not all that interesting.

#23: LOVE IT! I would have either help the camera higher or nocked down the ruff at the very front but really good overall.

#24: Hate the vignetting, again maybe expose for the light and see how the darks come out.

#25: Really good example of exposing for the light and seeing how the rest comes out. I like it. The horizon is a little off and I'd cut out the negative space on the far right.

I hope this helped. You definitely have the potentially it just needs a little work (and less post processing). I'd recommend looking up famous photographers who's style you like and seeing how they compose.

Thanks for taking the time to type all of that out, i really appreciate it! Ill try the tips and tricks you listed for my future shots. Ill definitely have to tone down my post-processing and work more with the shot in person.
