I recently went to an abandoned industrial site along the riverside with UER member Tomtortise. It was a really neat explore. It was something different since I usually explore hospitals and hotels, but an amazing kind of different. I definitely hope to explore more of these properties soon. A nice trip, although the other two locations on our list were a fail, but nonetheless I had a great time.

Damn, you sure got some good pics. I can't believe people say a smartphone isn't viable for nice looking shots.

Also 11 looks great.

There are plans to convert the mill to apartments. A developer is on board. I visited last month and will probably go again soon. I agree with everyone else, the photo of the mossy floor is awesome.

So that explains the plastic on the windows and some fresh wood I saw laying around. It's always nice hearing about re-use of a building instead of demolishing it.

I'd like to add that these photos were shot with my Galaxy S7 Edge. The quality of these photos might even be better than my camera which I didnt use this trip.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

We did, but on the way they right side of the room, that seems to have been caused due to the leaking roof as the floor on the right side was much better.

Very nice set of photos. I agree smartphone cameras are legit, and your pictures prove it for sure!

This is really a site for redevelopment? Looks like an expensive project. I've wondered how doable it is for developers to rehab buildings like this.

shots 11-13 are so awesome, it's so bizarre and cool to see all that green on the floor, makes me wonder why I haven't seen more growth like that in abandoned places. at the same time it's uniqueness is what makes it that much more appealing to me I think. oh gosh picture number 14 VERY clearly illustrates the need to be cautious where you're putting your feet/weight while exploring. freaks me out just a lil

The one building I've encountered with green like that had decayed in a way that turned it into a huge greenhouse. The windows, roof, and walls were intact enough to stop meaningful airflow but not enough to stop water and birds. The result was a very humid and stable environment.
