That was something I found out in an argument in New Jersey with a gas station attendant. Here is some of my pictures from the NE segment of my trip.

Can't pump your own gas in Oregon, either.

Your photos from the church are super well done. I couldn't get the altar space lit without the windows blowing out. Great set overall but those photos stand out most to me.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

Nice set!

My experience on the bike in NJ has been that they will come out and 'supervise' you pumping your own, after punching the buttons and handing you the nozzle.

in 99, during a roadtrip to Maryland, I stopped on the NJ turnpike to get gas... I almost got into a fistfight with the attendant over gas pumpage.

Nice stuff. The section of campus in #1-#7 looks worse every time I go or even see photos of it unfortunately. Also, #2 is pretty funny.

3rd shot and last shot are out standing.

From the set its seem likely your shooting in full/semi auto but using a tripod. Shoot #10 in full manual again at iso 100 with a longer shutter and that image would be 100x better.

Sweet pix! Looks like you hit some cool spots.
Do you shoot with a full frame camera?

Where I messed up here is I didn't haven't a remote and for some reason didn't use the timer. I shot at 100 iso shutter speed around 1.5, but the vibration from pressing the button ended up leaving it somewhat blurry for any kind of long exposure. This is the one shot I wish I could do all over again the entire trip. I should have spent more time on it without a doubt.

Absolutely awesome! The old church is such a cool place.

I love the composition of #10. #14 is also awesome to me in the way that the colors of the stained glass match almost perfectly with the tagging - it strikes a unique touch over the grays and browns of the church.

It's always great to see photos of an abandoned church that still has its windows intact. They're such a piece of art.

As for gas, I used to have a car that had issues with the fill neck, so you couldn't set it and forget it. It was squeeze, wait, squeeze, wait. And the attendant yelled at me to fix my car before I ever came back.

Sounds like great customer service. I don't understand how someone could be so vocally angry at such a small inconvenience in their day.
