| | | Set in Victoria BC, in one of the few outdoor shots secret tunnel to Chinatown from Gonzales Hill? In this what I assume fictional 1935 film(based on a book The Black Robe by Guy Morton). Didn't expect the secrets of Chinatown to be so satanic. https://www.youtub...atch?v=1XAqN9iFYrE No reason to think too deep into this fictional 1935 film. Now what do the freemasons have to say about the film, usually not movie critics so probably nothing: http://freemasonry..._of_chinatown.html ...now what sits on top Gonzales Hill? These notes get a little abstract: -And it fits?: ^The plaque has since been replaced with a new one. Now the style of plaques were used across Canada by the historical Site and Monument Board of Canada. -Masonry looks familiar sometimes in the film? -Who else wears black Robes sometimes? -But the film ends at False Ears, or did you hear/point correctly? Just passed the Foul Bay Grocery? ----------------------------------- ^"construction of the Cairn Hill Gonzales 1926" ^"Public Works Rock Quarry at Gonzales Hill 1911"

| | | Hey Luigi, as discussed. I watched the whole movie, I just love that era. I've eaten at the restaurant at the beginning of the movie through the years a few times. It's funny that you bring up Gonzales, as I was just there for other reasons Friday night. What I do find very interesting regarding the freemasons website is the following: "The "magic eye of Lao Tsee" medallion, depicts a symbol "that holds the secret of the most mysterious of all the yogi matters". [00:02:20] Note that the eye sits atop a mountain, not a pyramid; and that it is not contained within a triangle". Very interesting indeed! I'm sure there is some truth to the story. On a side note, lets go visit that location which has a price tag of 2k, fine if caught. I enjoy a good thrill ;) of course once the weather clears up. There is only 1 way in, and any CRA workers have a beautiful view of your balancing act It took me while to find this old building, but like anything.. a few days of homework + a little eye for detail goes a long way. -Artemis

| If you're buying Artemis. Why don't they have reserve storm drain workers - there seems to be an interest - money saving advantage for the city - they have reserve police, volunteer firemen, volunteer search and rescue teams(volunteer search and rescue - of which I hear sometimes they do training in the systems). | However I think it appears to be contained in a triangle, Or at least the eye is in a shape of a triangle attached/part of the hill top : ...This eye with radiating, flashing lines may be taken from the long out of print novel.....
|
Used to be a "wireless station" on the top of Gonzales Hill as far as things radiating. There is also a definite eye on the hill. http://www.victori...nzaleshistory.html At the very least it's a weird movie. Even if no truth to it I'm sure it contributed to the stories.

I was just out there getting shots of grafiti and the nearby homes slated for demo, I didnt explore down in the basement cuz i had no light, also wanted to get on the roof, but was solo, didnt wna get hurt....
| Good day Doobie, Yes, I have known about the CRA taking down those buildings in white for a while now. It's due to BC HYDRO neglecting the general areas ;). They are demolishing these beautiful buildings which could hold squatters in case of an earth quake. To sum it all up, under the power house is stantch, not very pleasant at all... but when is our hobby pleasant? The roof, well.. you stole my thought.. it definitely very lose, sketchy. - Artmes
