I checked out a hospital that is beginning to be gutted to prepare for demolition. It is pretty infamous and is very tough to enter (nearly broke my leg trying to get in). Hope you enjoy the pics.

How on earth is there that much mostly intact equipment when the place looks as gratified up as it does in "cool room". There's still unbroken glass in the isolation suits. Nice pics

I'm extremely jealous! This looks like a great explore! There is a hospital that I've been eyeing for some time and I think you inspired me to make a trip!

You definitely should. The amount of apparent history in each hospital is unbelievable. Pretty crazy experience!

Hi, I live in St. Louis and am willing to drive out to this hospital. Can you help me figure out where this is located?

It was an interesting situation because it is situated in a decent neighborhood, which meant there was security patrolling the outside and cops on speed dial. However, if you were smart about it and didn't get very unlucky, you could make it in quite easily.
We actually saw a group of four try and enter and the last two were loud enough to alert the security guards. Within a few minutes, two cop cars had arrived and ended up letting them off.
This location was neat, but there's definitely a lot more to see in Chicago if you keep an eye out.

Place is long-gone... what remains is being redeveloped into apartments.
