We did get winter again, and at tuesday it did seem it could start once again fade away at next day so it was kind of "I must get somewhere" situation. I did decide it would be time to this last summer's discovery.

From Winter's Fairytale:

Frozen and Alone:

Complete Silence:

Once They Were:

Keys and Cards:

Time Travelling:

To Remember:

Ghost from the Past:

Opium Dream Returns:

And from there I did decide check if I could get to other abandoned house that I've photographed just once at 2011, with snow there ain't fear of getting lost, you can always return as your own footsteps. Actually it was easy, just 1 km in forest and almost half of that were chopped away since my last visit.

Still There:

Cold Emptiness:

Let the Curtain Descent:

When Ghost Were There:

Double Hearted:

Map of the Land of Oblivion:

-----

And today's off-topic-bonus-picture takes us back to Torronsuo national park and to that blizzard of last week:

That's all for this weekend, folks.

Another great post. Always like your isolating of subjects and of course the bonuses.

I always love your eye for compositions, but "Map of the Land of Oblivion" is sublime.

I agree with Baldran. Map of the Land of Oblivion is just excellent. Your Black and White processed pics are some of my faves...Always enjoy when you do a few of these

My favorite thing about forgotten places is trying to make garbage (too lazy to find a better word) look great and you do a phenomenal job at just that. I love these shots!

Have to try to get more to next weekend - society try to push me into three-shift work which would be pretty awful what comes to photographing. Pretty strange to fear idea of permanent job... anyway, I must try to photograph now as much as possible.

I suppose that I should be able to get even more out of that "Map of" view... So I suppose that at some time scale I will return. Like I always do. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much! I feel that some views... they just need that B/W treatment which makes them take us even further in time. I'm glad if they seem to work.

I've wonder same thing many times, how even most ordinary things can be something else when looking through camera in abandoned places. It's strange and fascinating. Thank you very much.
