Spot has been on my list for a while, five minutes from my office. Had been waiting for the weather to cool and some of the foliage to lighten up and snakes to go somewhere else. Of course today was low 80s, prolly some snakes watched me walk past with my trusty "Snake Whacking Stick" and scurried away in fear.
Anyway, from the outside I thought this was not going to be very interesting, walked around and peeked in a window and what I saw made me not want to even bother tromping through chest high grass, that had plenty of thorn bushes, and other things hidden in it to trip you up. But that little voice inside said, "Go on, it will be worth it. Those stay out signs are for other people with nefarious intentions, not for you!"
So on I went.
And I am glad I did.
Some of the photos are taken with my phone as I only went in with my 50mm because I did not want to have the bulkiness of my backpack with me. I do want to revisit with my wide angle lens inside though. Perhaps for lunch tomorrow...
But for now enjoy these:

As always thanks for taking a look. I might have some more to add tomorrow. Let me know if anything caught your eye you want a better shot of.
The medical equipment inside looks to date from the 1950s from what I could find.
I am in the process of asking around some of the old farts I work with to see if any of them recall this place to gather some information on it. Will update with anything else I get.
As always, thanks for taking a look!
