Some friends and I decided to revisit one of our favorite locations. Now that my photography skills have improved slightly it was nice to create some nicely composed shots. My personal favorite from this set is the last one.

Love that industrial hulk in #2. All the plant life growing throughout the place must have been great to look at.

Thanks, this place is always a joy to visit despite my friends getting rusty nails in their boots. Also I did my best to brighten up image 4 for you.

Any idea what he facility did? It looks like a single purpose lathe of some sort, I'm a machinist, so old machine shop stuff always fascinates me.

Yes actually I do its an old train disassembly facility. There were tons of old documents that dated back to the 40's that talked about all the different trains that came threw.

Awesome! It looks to be a lathe built to true/machine the wheels on the axles.
