There is a cluster of about 12 abandoned houses along East Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE. Most are empty but two are full of forgotten belongings. Has anyone seen these? Or, knows what brought 12 homeowners to pick up and leave?

Any idea how long they've been vacant? That is unusual for Redmond. I've seen multiple houses vacant like that in government housing projects before. I actually have some flicks I can share from the Yakama Indian Nation.

Kind of weird too they would leave all their family photos on the walls, kids sports pictures and everything.

They look like they've been empty for a good while too, huh?

Been here a few years back, looks like they have really declined since my visit. If my memory is correct there were only 3-4 houses.

There are around 4 houses on one side of the street and about 4 more on the other side

it seems that most of the food expiration dates were in the early 2000s but thats the only clue I have to work with.

For some reason I can't view the album, it says it's private. Am I too late to the picture viewing party? :<

It's probably because it contained photos of her and her friends. She's trying to become more anonymous.

Oh well then she might just wanna what I do lol. I create three different albums for each explore. One with everything single photo, one will all the photos I like and would share with people I trust, and another for here at UER (so no car photos, face photos, etc). It's a little extra work but yeah!

I spotted these guys a block away, more or less contiguously connected except blackberries. The land was sold off and the date for the meeting of gentrifying was a couple weeks ago. Me and some friends wrote in letters "no stahp" basically saying it'd cause too much traffic.

I have been looking for those houses since I saw this thread, was searching at completely the wrong part.

I researched it awhile ago and it looks like the last owner died in early 2016. It appears that she was probably living in the house with the yellow and blue tile because it was in great condition and had been pretty well cleaned out. I had found her name and obituary and it looks like she or her family owned most of them, if not all.

So I talked to a local and found out: the owner of the mill that used to be on the lake lived in another house (still standing until April in sammamish) and the workers lived in this block and another along the lake (he gave me a new thing to find).
