Not really UE but had to post up a couple pics we took at the job last week during the storms.

My question is does anyone know the status of the area up around the old Camp Maxey site? I know most of it closed down but didnt know if it might be worth a drive up still.

second for the OK folks, does anyone know if the old Boys school in Pauls valley has anything left to explore.

Spent some time researching these last week but not finding much. Feel free to msg direct if you prefer over posting.

IT was a few things, actually began as a state school and went thru a few things from what I can tell. Look south of the airport

Here is a link about it.

I know this is a really old thread, but I drove past this place a few months ago and it’s been on my radar for some time. It’s not active but there were signs of some activity (caretaker or security maybe?). Does anyone have a useful update on this location? If anyone here has actually explored this one or knows anything about it, please speak up! To date, I’ve never heard anyone mention this location until I stumbled across this thread.
This location is far enough away that my ability to keep tabs on its status is limited for me here in NTX, but close enough to make a day trip if it looks promising (if anyone else is interested). 🙂

I wandered till the stars went dim.
