Hi, this is my first post on the forums. I shot these with a canon 60D with EFS17-85mm lens. I shot it handheld because I didn't have my tripod which unfortunately resulted in a lot of noise in some of the photos. I'm going back (with my tripod) in a few days and was looking for suggestions. Thanks!

This place has the most amazing Spanish mission style architecture and all the rooms are painted in beautiful vibrant colors.

The location looks great! I love that it looks so clean of graff and that the windows are still intact. Thanks for sharing the shots.

The photos are a little small so it's a bit hard to give critique on it.

I like the lines in 5 but it makes me wanting more so a wider crop might be good for that shot.

Also, the white balance in shots 2 and 3 seem a little odd but with the stained glass windows it's probably not easy to get a consistent white balance.

Thanks for the advice, I always forget to check my lines, and the room is painted blue and the stained glass in that room is also blue so it is kind of a pain when trying to decide on a white balance (would probably have to do several adjustments and masks to get the ceiling white). Thanks again, the criticism is appreciated.

I like the first one, though I'd have tried to hide the light source a little better. I also agree with Rob, make sure you're straight. ;) Leading lines and lines in general will make or break you.
