Well other than working all the time, the weather here has been extremely wet.. But I finally got out on two explores.. They are by no means artistic, fancy photos.. Got out and realized my camera was dead!! So these were all taken on my phone.. Due to the locations we had to be careful with shining our flashlights and it was extremely dark.. The first house was covered in spiders and after I got a hand full of one while looking in a binder, well I decided I was done! The second home is by far my favorite! I'm planing on going back with my camera during the day as soon as possible! The house is huge, very 70's and extremely interesting.. And covered in mold in most of the home..I'm looking up what history I can find and will post more when I get out there again.

YES! I love when you find preservation inside locations. Holding history like a time capsule.

Nice. Are you anywhere near Athens/Tyler area? It would be nice to know more people around these parts who like to explorer.

Hey hferg! I noticed you have some pics from the old Manor. You said you would like to know the history. Its sad and crazy. I will post a thread so you will see it back before it was finally cleaned of dead animals and horror stories.

Lie rather still because this is the first time I've used this equipment.

Oh I can't wait to hear the backstory. Please let it include NKOTB.

Hopeless, I'm close to Beaumont but would really like to get together with some people as well.. All the meet and greets are always in Houston on days I work.. I have a crazy schedule.. And miss!! My hero!! I just posted on your a reply on your thread.. I had to pause my research but what I found was rather strange.. As I said on your thread I won't post everything I found cause of names of family members but wow.. I'm torn between wishing I could have seen it the way you did and kinda glad I didnt.. I do plan on going back with my good camera during the day as soon as I get time.. It probably won't compare to your write up but I really want to put more pics and some more info up soon.. But geez I need to win the lotto so I have more time off work for it, lol.. Thanks my friend for your post.. I have to admit I've been a little obsessed with this.. Just hate that the history is as bad as it is..

nkotb was the other house,

Oops, my bad. Well, that only proves there is another crazy story to piece together. This is exactly why residential is my favorite exploration category.

Everyone once in a while one will really get me, I love when I can find some history on a place.. And residential is my favorite as well.. I think it is the story that the house has to tell that intrigues me the most..
