Hello all,

I am new here and i really like to go out and explore old abandoned places. I always travel alone but i would really like to go explore with other enthusiasts. I have been to a lot of places already and combine two hobbies: Exploring & Photography. I think this forum is a great place to show my pictures and i would appreciate feedback on my pictures to improve myself. So, thanks already ;)

I enjoy the composition and such, but the HDR is over the top. I'm sure i won't be the only to mention so..

The last one, i would perhaps crop a bit to remove the left wall and some of the floor, but that's just me.

I agree with Relik, the pictures are pretty good, I think the colours especially are well done. HDRs however, and post-processing in general, should be approached like a girl when she puts on make-up. It's not supposed to be overly blatant, it has to be delicate and should serve only to enhance the natural features. Try to darken the bright notes.

Totally in agreement with the two previous posters.
Additionally, the second photo may have been improved by not cutting off the reflection at the bottom.

I absolutely love all of these though. Your lighting is impeccable!

Too much HDR can hurt the eyes you know. Compose with the light, and use HDR wisely. Rarely, even.

I like HDR myself. I don't do all HDR and when I do I try not to go too crazy with the processing which is very easy to do. Some pictures I have overdone on purpose because I thought the picture deserved it. I don't think these pictures are overdone myself. Close but it is all subjective. Don't do all HDR though. Regular pics are good too.. Composition is good.

I agree with the comments above^ tone down the HDR, and maybe don't use it on every single photo. These are really nice shots, the last one is maybe lacking a little bit composition-wise. But the hallway shots make good use of leading lines. Good work tho

I think this is probably the best HDR interpretation I've ever read.

Super pretty photos but they oddly don't look real. Guess how you edited the photos but might pass it off as some well done computer art over real photos.

What you're seeing is the effect of the HDR (high dynamic range). It's where you shoot multiple exposures of each shot, some over exposed and some underexposed. Then you layer them up in Photoshop and do some masking. Which you really SHOULD do by hand for good results, but there's also automatic algorithms which do it for you, and tend to create the "Clown vomit" look.

Great photos, thanks for sharing!

The pictures are nice...maybe the HDR effect is a bit too intense, but thats just personal preference.

These are beautifully done. Just tone down your usage of contrast and HDR, just a smidge. Besides that they're great. What do you shoot with?
