I'm still backlogged on photos from last winter, but the weekend meet up motivated me to post some more of my adventures. Here is a set of an elementary school that caught my eye while roadtripping back from the east coast. I believe this was in eastern Louisiana, but it might have been in Mississippi. Enjoy.

Nice find, man, schools are always charismatic. I love the "School In Crisis" magazine, that's a pretty sweet irony!

nice find.

This building is kind of funny because there seems to be hard lines between "trashed to all hell" and "very close to pristine" in it. xD

Those multicoloured walls would freak me out for some reason. Awesome find for sure.

Thanks y'all. It was a nice little adventure for sure. The colored walls didn't weird me out as much as all the cartoon murals on the wall. It's eerie to come around a corner and see a four foot tall Humpty Dumpty staring at you. It was in surprisingly good condition. I wish I had marked where I was so I could do some research into the place once I got back from my trip.

Interesting change between the main school building and the annex. It looks like the latter was almost untouched.

I wish I did. I'll look through my unposted photos for clues and try to rack my brain for the location of where I found it.

They also had the school mission painted on the wall.

This place has Hurricane Katrina written all over it (figuratively, I mean). Badass find. Thanks for sharing.
