Greetings, everyone. This may be my second post to this vehicles thread (I think I uploaded one of a white pick-up missing the bed; not sure).
Here are 2 recent photos. I know that they are not 4 wheels, but this is my contribution :)

Some girly scooter found in an abandoned warehouse:

and this one was found in the back of an abandoned restaurant's field:

I will say that this Honda was NOT comfortable on the feet at all...

While I like your photos, I'm a bit confused on the term "girly scooter". As women are we relegated to riding scooters? It seems like this statement perpetuates the idea that women are less capable than men. Although I don't personally ride scooters, I know a number of people of both sexes that do.

Of the many things that impress me about UER, one of the biggest is that the women here demonstrate that they can participate on an equal footing with the guys.

Crap. My sincerest apologies for that, Abby Normal :/ It was unwise for me to describe it as a "girly scooter" here on the forums.

You women are VERY capable of riding other types of 2 wheeled vehicles BESIDES scooters. I know this firsthand because I am acquainted with 2 other females that ride crotch rockets, and they are good at it!
However, I will admit that it's the MALES whom I do not acknowledge on the road when I get greeted by one (riding a scooter). Yes, I am that snobby rider that will play off the greet with a sudden flick of the bird once it gets closer and I see that it's a male on a scooter. Oh well. Even my female friends have done the same thing that I just described. It may be a bit confusing to understand if you're not a rider.

So please do not read my description to the scooter as sexist. I sometimes forget how things are misinterpreted by others online.

I'll say this. Typically where I live if a girl is on a scooter it's normal. She likes it. She is in college. Etc.

If a guy is, he got a DUI.

Ha-Ha!
From what I've experienced, males on scooters won't even try to turn their head and nod at you if they're in the lane next to you at a red light. Everyone just knows better.

Hey A-Z,

I hesitated to even write the post because I didn't think it was intended with any malice. I should have known that there was no disrespect.

I have to laugh about your description of waving to scooters. When I rode a KLR-650 before the current adventure bike craze, NO ONE would wave! I was an outcast. When I rode my Road King, all the cruiser folks would wave. When I rode the Concours all the sport and touring folks would wave. But the little KLR wouldn't get any respect.

Here's my current "scooter".

It's a real joy to ride. I'm hoping to get new tires and brakes on the Road King and get it back on the road. It's been too long since I rode it. My part time job is as an MSF rider coach. Lots of fun to help folks learn to ride.

Be safe!

WHOA! That is one kewl Concours. So you're a Kawi girl... ^_^

What I've noticed is that a few (some) Harley riders do not wave back if you aren't on a cruiser like they are. Ehh-it's understandable. I myself would wave at you I've waved at many non-scooter riders when possible (excluding nonveteran-CanAm trike riders too; let's not even go there either)

You and your students be safe out there too!
Rubber down, plastic up.
Don't let those cagers intimidate you.
