I've been crazy inactive, so I doubt anyone remembers me. No matter, here are a small amount of pictures from my latest explores:
Clothing factory:
Garage:
(No idea why that last one uploaded so small and pixelly)
Anyway, the Garage used to be another sort of factory until it had a fire. I've heard reports that anywhere from one to 40 people died in it and that the owner committed suicide afterward. I'm calling that BS. I suppose it's possible that there was one fatality, and the owner may have killed himself for a number of reasons, but if 40 people were burned alive here, I am positive there would be a historic marker. On top of that, the building was erected in 1918 and the mass-cremation apparently happened in the 1920s. Considering the burnt wood is still holding the roof up on part of the 4th floor, I'm sure it hasn't been like that for 100 years. There are a ton of much newer car filters strewn around the ground floor, which is what gives the impression that it was a garage most recently, and I'm no expert but I don't think it's a good idea to use heavy machinery in a building that was burnt to a crisp and left that way for decades. I'm sure the fire happened while it was functioning as a garage. So... yeah.
The clothing factory was super dark and I kind of just guessed with the pictures, so they're not of anything in particular. Everything is exactly as it would have been aside from the inch of brown water covering the entire floor. The place even still has power; I noticed a phone blinking on a desk, and upon picking it up it still connects and can presumably make and receive calls. The building is in no way safe enough to be used properly anymore, so this is baffling to me. The second time I came, someone had locked the door again and my friends were too scared to climb through a window (like I had already done) so I didn't get a chance to take better pictures and/or find out why the hell it still has power.
