^Fuji FP-100C and FP-3000B, each less than $10/pack at B&H and better in every way than Polaroid's own film. Don't bother with expired Polaroid unless its something special (like ID-UV), prices are crazy.

I've honestly never used a Polaroid. I picked it up for 50 cents at a thrift store, so i figured it was worth it!
I'll definitely look into that film. Thanks much!

EDIT:
Stupid question.. Does this film work with any Polaroid camera then? At least any of the older kinds? I'm not sure if that's the exact model i actually have. I need to check when i get home.

The two films will work in any camera that looks like your 103... the Automatic 100/200/300/400 series and "second-gen" Propack/EE100/Reporter cameras. There are backs for other cameras to use it as well.

You will also likely need to do a battery conversion to that 103 so it takes 2 AAA batteries. Very easy to do; the battery holder is at Radio Shack for $2, and just follow these instructions:

Older FP-100C shot but I finally bleached the negative last night. Much better.

Neko, that shit rules.

Some shots from the abandoned Polaroid campus in Waltham, MA before developers (pun?) fucked with it (obviously from different times of year):

Hey, I wanted to ask how you all scan your Polaroids! What settings do you use!?

I picked up a polaroid and shot with it, but scannign has been a little funny-

I've been scanning on the epson v600.

Like a dumbass I noticed there were negatives on the back of the polaroid after I already through them out!

I guess this would be the best route for scanning...

Any suggestions for DPI and scanning settings would be appreciated!

I think mine are looking like sh!t, Thanks

^I have the same scanner; you want 1200dpi. I use the software that came with the scanner; unsharp mask is on medium, and CR is occasionally accurate but usually isn't.
