An old bridge that Cajun and I went out to couple weeks ago.

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice?

A little research might be a better way to find sites. Generally it is frowned upon to just ask for locations.

Sometimes walking in the woods behind that little abandoned house can lead to cool finds. Like twenty old rusted cars.

It's right by the speedway. There were some nice shots to be had there.

haha well I don't mind telling this one. Especially to Jalopy, a fellow Tulsan.

Why keep the location of a graveyard a secret?

First I'm hearing of this in my 4+ years on this site.

Now that I know,I won't ask for locations of public fucking property.

This was taken in a haunted Brothel close to Johnstown, Pa. The hand on the step when looked at close up is in full detail; finger, thumb, palm, and was not there when I shot it. I first thought it was a flash, but there is just to much detail for that.

Why is this in the Oklahoma - photo a day? Northeast - photo a day would be more appropriate. Interesting photo nonetheless.

That's my bad really. I should have checked the FAQ or something before I just blurted out non-sense. I apologize to everyone for my veteran mistake. Won't happen again.

I knew you would appreciate that. I looked up some more specific rules for you written by folks far more qualified than this newb. Hope you enjoy!

Just to clarify this a bit and then let's move on, SDR69 is right, and wrong, in that it is (and always has been since I've been here for TEN PLUS years) generally frowned upon to ask for certain details about locations in the open forums. Reasons for that are to hopefully keep the place from being swamped by scrappers or people on this site who destroy, tear apart, and otherwise do things that would get a place sealed up for the rest of us.

The more common thing to do is ask in a PM for location and entry details from the OP, and if that person wants to disclose that to you then they can choose to do so.

That said though, naming a town where a location is, or a specific location of something like a cemetery is in NO WAY a violation or any rule or standard practice on here. It's not like anyone can shut down the cemetery.

The practice of not disclosing location or access information in the open forum usually applies to buildings, drains, or other areas that could be shut down for every one else. Hope that helps.

I'll think about it, that hurt pretty bad though. lmao. Actually you were both right, and wrong, at the same time. No biggie. Just didn't want anyone confused over it.

I'll change the subject!

Alamo Plaza Hotel Courts was the first motel chain in the US. The last location was opened in 1965. Looks like most of them have been demoed by this point.

*Edited to add historical context.
