I stopped going, because no one would show.

I have been going to almost all of the meetings for the past year, bar a couple occasions where I was unable to.

Yes. It says "ISLAND PLEASE COME HOME" with a sad face in the corner.

I get them.

There were three of us at this month's meeting. I hadn't been to one in a while prior to it. A few of us are making an effort to be more present.

I haven't been to one in ages. But I'm going to make the effort to get to the next one.

Some people (including myself) are not/no longer getting notifications and it doesn't even show up in the events page for me anymore.

Is it all of us, or just a few?

Thanks!

I've fixed that. It should show up and notify you all now.

I work every Sunday until April (until 2/230) and wouldn't make it back until about3/330. Sorry guys, see you in 3 months.

Anyone want to plan a weekend outing sometime?

There should be some meetings central for the Maritimes. Maybe 2 or 3 per year in Moncton? It being the hub of the Maritimes. Idk, just an idea being thrown... up to everyone else to catch it or let it drop.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're suggesting that we specifically hold some monthly meetings in Moncton, instead of the pre-arranged Halifax meeting. If this isn't the case, I'm hoping you can elaborate for us. If this is your suggestion, I'm sorry to have to disagree with you.

We seem to be overwhelmingly Halifax based. I can't help but think that a scheduled meeting being held three hours away will be a great inconvenience to a lot of people, and convenient for very few. If I'm wrong and there's a bunch of people lurking about who would find Moncton a useful central location to meet, now's the time to come forward and say so.
Further to this, it's a Halifax Meet for people in the Halifax area (though everyone is very welcome to join us). If there are enough people in your area, perhaps you would be better off trying to arrange a Moncton Monthly Meet (you could call it * Urbex M3 * haha).

But to be clear, I'm not entirely dismissive of the idea. Although I don't see the value in moving a Halifax Meet to Moncton, I would love to schedule a specific trip to Moncton & surroundings to do some exploration, and I'd be very happy to meet you in person. I'm sure there are others would would enjoy doing this as well.

i agree with the above, i havent been able to attend any of the sunday meets, but this is a halifax meet. i dont see why there couldent be a meet elsewhere, but it would be more of an 'atlantic canada' meet, perhaps in a different location ever time. having the meet in moncton would be nice for just once to meet everyone around, but what would you do every time?

I know it's short notice, but March break is coming up this week -- Anyone up for a short-notice meetup to go explore something? It'd be cool to do something over break as a group.

At this time, sunset is at about 4:40pm. With a monthly meet starting at 2:00pm, we found ourselves in a time pinch at the last meeting.

What would everyone think about moving the meeting to an earlier time for the next few months? Probably until daylight savings time ends.

I'm thinking either 12:00pm or 1:00pm, any thoughts?

i'm 100% alright with starting earlier, even 11/10am would be fine with me.

I have no preference, so I will agree with whatever the majority votes on. I am fine with 11-12, whatever gives us more time.
