Photos taken at an abandoned high rise in Atlanta. None from the summit, but it's definitely worth it for the view (if you can make it up 20 or so floors).

You got this, Malthea. I'd be happy to take you sometime if you'd like. And this one room on that 16th floor that Damnband mentioned is almost pristine while everything else is scrapped.

the power is absolutely on. there is even an elevator in service. have yet to try it myself. such temperamental things; stairs will do just fine given the present company.

cheers!

oh... ok. I remember this place. We didn't get in.

Then later... there was the father / son duo
- seeing 3 strange guys coming out from behind the bush incident... while one was zipping up his pants.

Now that's just crazy, it always surprises me how abandoned places just get left with things still in service. I can't stand scrappers though they take what would be an amazing building, a lot of times salvageable by a new owner and destroy it for their own greed. As a property owner if I caught someone scrapping my building I'd have my guards shoot to kill. You can relatively easily tell if someones in your place scrapping vs. exploring if you're securing the place.

The sketchy cement area with the large drop off from the doors near the tennis courts?

I really like the low angle in #2.

I need to go here before it gets sealed again. I am swamped this weekend though.
