| | | It was crazy, Hootie. About 80 degrees Friday to an ice storm coming on Sunday. Even the damn wasps were out.

| | | On number five, I find it interesting how technology is being found in these places. The computer keyboard, for instance, just a few years ago, it would be unthinkable to really find that whilst exploring, but as time moves on, places recently become abandoned, with the newer tech, I suppose... Just, interesting.

Yeah, I'm sure when those items first came out, the buyer didn't think they would just leave 'em behind one day. Fun to think about what we'll find 10 years from now, Jared Kat. Also found this phone...
Did a few twirls...very satisfying And of course buckets of old records in the basement.

| | | PL, I want to thank you for inviting me to come check this place out. Sorry I couldn't come along with you guys when you went. I did, however, manage to get there on Christmas Eve (and I was happy to see there were even some Christmas decorations out!) This place was absolutely fantastic. Loved it. The school has been sitting there unused for almost thirty years, and while there's a little bit of spray paint and broken glass, most of the damage looks like natural decay. The community center/former teachers' quarters across the street has been used more recently, and it looks a little more trashed than the school, but it was still cool to see. All in all, an A-1 excellent location. 1.
2. Inside the main entrance.
3. That collapsed auditorium. Absolutely my favorite thing here.
4.
5. This was on top of the TV when I was there. Evidently the vintage media player changes on a regular basis...
6. First floor classroom.
7. There were two of these badass tiled water fountains, one on either end of the first floor.
8. Second floor classroom.
9.
10.
11. Basement classroom.
12. What it looks like if you try to get to the auditorium from the basement.
13.
14. Aw... Merry Christmas to you, too!
15. The teachers' quarters across the street from the school.

Thanks again, PL!
