Went in with the security all up, well at least as up as it was last month, you can see the higher-res window shots and see the electric fence through them on my flickr and imgur links.
|
I am thoroughly impressed.
My sincerest apologies for any photography sins that I may commit, but you must understand that I have no idea what I'm doing. |

http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=25375 Supposedly 10,000 volts. Is that still what the sign says? Also - Katharsys and UEMEZ I'm so curious - how did you determine it was still live? Voltmeter or something? Or did you just grab it?

Katharsys gets all the credit for touching it with their backhand. Would not recommend. As they will also agree to.

| | | I've been wanting to check this place out for years, haven't been around much lately and it's cool to see someone get into it recently.

That's all? Our cow fence puts that out. If I understand electricity right (and I may not), if the amperage is not high, shocks wont be lethal, just painful. They get lethal as the amperage goes up and the current becomes more or less constant? The right gloves and shoes would shield you from a lot of it if you were careful. I have to say, this is my favorite thread right now. There aren't many places like this left that haven't been explored over and over again.

Leave it to a woman to have the cojones to touch an electric fence. I'd like to explore this too.

| | | Been in this place many times over the last 6 years. I'm glad to see someone's been in there since the fence went up. It's sad the so many of the other buildings are gone now. http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=25375
