Your lines are crooked on the Gary train station shot; the left edge leans right and the top edge dips down to the right. Easy enough to correct in Photoshop, but even easier to get right on the spot. When you shoot a square subject straight on like that, even slight alignment errors become obvious.

The Packard shot is nice; personally I would have cropped out a bit more of the negative space around the edges, but I still like your final product.

Yeah I actually noticed that the lines weren't straight right when I posted the photo haha but yes yes thank you!

I just love my negative space but I couldn't agree more. That was the one shot I basically left unedited

Appreciate the advice

My two cents...

1) Nice shot! I really like it. There could be less negative space as it competes a little too much for my attention.

2) Not bad. The trains on the side drew my attention right away though. I would advise maybe trying for a different perspective instead of shooting at eye level. Maybe get low to the ground and do a worms eye view to add a little more interest and pizzazz. Maybe experiment with a different angle instead of head on as well?

Just a couple thoughts but overall good photos.

One doesn't do much for me. I am not sure what exactly I am looking at...an underpass with fire? For sure a tighter crop is needed. And as others have stated, possibly another angle. Both your shots are taken at dead center, which is fine, especially when conveying symmetry. However, I think another angle may really help 1

I really like 2. I know others said they would like it cropped tighter too, but I don't. Plus I really like the sky and don't want you to lose any of it. I really like the tree to and wouldn't want to see just half of it or worse just a few branches.

Remember, art is subjective. What one may hate, others may love. Some of favorite images are the ones that others hate. Keep it up. I also looked at your flickr images and they're good.

Really liked this:
