This time, we played on it like a jungle gym (don't worry, we had an aid bag with us) and followed a very steep path (read: slightly worn deer run that led to a cliff) down the slope to the river. We spent a few minutes there and climbed back up. I would recommend NOT doing that, because the hillside is pretty steep (greater than 90% grade most of the way up) and consists of loose dirt and burnt-out roots.
